About Us
Shine Squad Early Learners is a licensed home daycare and preschool in Rockville, MD, serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a safe, nurturing home environment—ideal for commuting families.
We offer full-time and part-time care year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexible scheduling, regular updates, and open communication for parent peace of mind.
Hi, my name is Sidra, and I am a childcare provider with 13 years of experience in early childhood education, as well as being a mother. I have professional preschool experience from Early School, and Learning center, and I bring the best practices and structure from these larger centers into my small, home-based family childcare program. This allows me to give children individual attention while providing a strong educational foundation.
I have been running my fully licensed and registered family childcare program for over a year. I am licensed to care for up to eight children and follow Office of Child Care and MCPS ratios, serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
Curriculum
I offer a play-based, age-appropriate curriculum focused on whole-child development. Activities support early literacy and numeracy, language development, social-emotional skills, fine and gross motor skills, creativity, and independence. Daily routines include circle time, story time, music and movement, arts and crafts, hands-on learning, and indoor and outdoor play. My goal is to support families and prepare children for a smooth transition into preschool and kindergarten.

Infants

Toddlers
Welcome to our toddler program, where we provide a safe and nurturing environment for your little ones to explore and grow Each child receives personalized attention, allowing them to develop essential motor, social, and early learning skills at their own pace. Preschool
Our preschool program nurtures curious young minds in a safe, cozy, and loving environment. Through structured routines, planned activities, and hands-on learning experiences, children build independence, confidence, creativity, and essential social skills. We provide individual attention and a warm, supportive atmosphere where each child grows at their own pace, develops a love for learning, and feels valued and empowered as they prepare for the next stage of their educational journey.
Our Philosophy
At Shine Squad, we prioritize a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth, along with personalized care to meet the individual needs of each child. I am a certified Infant & Preschool teacher, and we offer engaging activities designed to encourage curiosity and creativity, while preparing children for kindergarten and supporting their unique developmental milestones.
Safety is our top priority — children are cared for in a secure, pet-free environment, and I am CPR, First Aid, and MAT certified to ensure their well-being at all times.
While we are not a bilingual program, I am fluent in English and Urdu and happy to incorporate language learning into your child’s day upon request. Snacks are included in the tuition.
